SGPC will follow Hindu date for Gurpurab

Not only is the Bikrami Calendar a Hindu calendar, it also is scientifically incorrect. All world calendars are based on the solar year, including the Nanakshahi Calendar of the Sikhs, which fixes the dates of all Gurpurabs. Guru Gobind Singh’s prakash is Jan. 5.
