The following is an English transcription of the proceedings of Sarbat Khalsa 2015. The English transcription contains general ideas of repetitive content, summaries of relevant content, and paraphrases or quotes of significant content.

0:0 - Jathinder Singh Sidhu taadi jatha of Patiala:    During encounters with police, they (Sikhs) fight bravely. Sikh warriors, who have been fighting for the Kaum (Sikh people), have become immortal. They get scalped and cut to pieces, but they still are grateful to God. They (willingly) put nooses around their necks for the sake of freedom, and shout slogans for freedom. This is our history.

1:30MC:     This huge gathering is like ocean waves. There are so many people, because of their love of the Kaum, who have gathered here. Our most respected delegates from the USA: Resham Singh from the North America Sikh delegation; Paramjit Singh from Oregon; Dhian Singh from Houston; Santokh Singh from Dallas; Harjit Singh Bains from Houston; Gurinder Singh from Indiana; Harinder Singh from Texas; Jasdev Singh, Freemont; Yadwinder Singh from New Jersey; Gurtej Singh from Yuba City; Manjit Singh Uppal from Stockton; Santokh Singh Judge; Manjeet Singh Brar, Ravinder Singh from Freemont; Sanej (inaudible) from San Jose; Resham Singh from Bakersfield; Rajwinder Singh from Fresno; Surjit Singh Kular from New York; Bhajneet Singh from Los Angeles – they are all here. Gurvinder Singh from Paris. Simranjit Singh Mann, president of the Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar is here. Satnam Singh Manawa, whose brother has become shaheed, is here.

Sikh Channel, Akal Channel and Voice of Khalsa are broadcasting live. Kamal Puri, who is providing the sound system, and Bhatia Tent House, which is providing tents, are also here.

Mokham Singh and Amreek Singh Ajnala and Gurdeep Singh Bathinda are here. Jaskaran Singh Kahansinghwala, Ramanjit Singh Sikki who resigned his (Congress) MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly, from Khadur Sahib, Punjab) position after the baeadbi of Guru Granth Sahib; Giani Jaswinder Singh, (former) head granthi of Darbar Sahib.

Shah Mohamad, a great Muslim writer, said whatever the Panth does will happen.

Gagan Singh (nihang group) is coming to the stage. Now Parkash Singh Badal cannot stop this movement. Baljit Singh Daduwal (also from nihang group). Many groups are arriving.

Manawa has spoken of the excesses done to Sikh since 1947. Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Seattle has passed a resolution against the baedbi of GGS, and Satnam Singh has arrived here with that message.

My Punjab Radio, Toronto, Punjab TV, Chardi Kala TV, all from Toronto are carrying this program live. Sangat TV is also carrying this program live.

Bapu Surat Singh, who is on a hunger strike, is not doing it as a personal fight. It is a fight for the Kaum.

13:07Manawa, MC:    Sakhwant Singh, Jaspal Singh, Sucha Singh of Gurmat Sangeet Academy in Jandiala; Shivdev Singh of Holland; Karam Singh of Holland; Kulwant Singh of Machikae Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee; Krishan Garh Mansa; Prem Singh of Canada; Bhupinder Singh Makhu; Mahinder Singh of Akal Federation; Jagtar Singh Mal of Germany; Mangal Singh of Mughalchak; Bhag Singh and Sansar Singh of Delhi; Uday Singh Fatehghar Sahib; Barnala.

We cannot name everyone who has come here.

15:37 - Giani Jaswinder Singh, (former) head granthi of Darbar Sahib:     Citing Gurbani of Kabeer. The waves of the ocean of the Sikh Panth has arrived from many countries to raise the voice of truth… No one can stop you. The Harminder Sahib belongs to you. The Sri Akal Takhat belongs to the Sikh Kaum. They do not belong to any one organization or any one person. The five takhats belong to you. Take care of the five takhats from where the jathedaars have been thrown away like a burned roti from the tava. I congratulate the Panth, Simranjit Singh Mann, and all other leaders. Offering Ardas for Panth to remain in Chardi Kala. To prevent further baeadbi of Guru Granth Sahib, take care of it yourselves. Do not depend on others, so that no one can do baeadbi of Guru Granth Sahib.

19:10MC:    Many women, mothers and sisters have arrived here.  On June 1, when the baeadbi happened at Bhurj Jawahar Singh Wala and the Guru Granth Sahib was stolen, then again in Bargari another baeadbi, every child, every Sikh cried, and the women also carried out during sit-in protests on bridges.

Announcing names of more supporters from Farozpura, Chandpura, Budha Dal, Atwal Sahib, Randhawawalay, Sikh Parliament.

This is such a sacred place, where so many martyrs have sacrificed themselves. After the baeadbi of Guru Granth Sahib, we went to the canals for protesting. We should look into our own hearts. The next day, that brave man went and resigned from the Punjab Legislative Assembly, Ramanjeet Singh Sikki.

24:10 - Ramanjit Singh Sikki, who resigned from the Punjab Legislative Assembly in protest of government inaction in finding the person(s) responsible for desecrating the Guru Granth Sahib:    Such governments and their bodies in which our Gurus are not respected are not acceptable to us. I call on all Sikhs to stand side by side to, and at such a difficult time, to give full support to the Kaum. You have said that I have sacrificed something but that is nothing compared to those who have taken bullets in their bodies for the sake of the Kaum. The Badals have bowed down for the sake of power.

The Guru Granth Sahib has sacrificed its own body to raise the consciousness of the Sikhs. The sleeping Panth should wake up.

Ramanjit Singh Sikki, former Punjab MLA

Look, from Amritsar to Tarn Taarn, and other places, all the people that are on their way here are more than those who are already here. Those who are already in this gathering in this area are not even a fourth of those who are on their way. This administration may try to threaten and try to intimidate (them) but this is a unique Kaum that will not succumb to that. It will not stop. It cannot be imprisoned. It’s not one, two or any number. But everyone who is here is ready to sacrifice their head.

I just want to say that that this Punjab province is famous for peace and chardi kala (perpetual optimism). In earlier times, whenever a Sikh left Punjab to go to other parts of India, people looked at the turbaned Sikh with great respect. We have to respect every religion in our mind, and not be divisive. By coming here, you have made a new declaration of equality.

28:14MC:    Announcing Jaswant Singh Purain. He will speak about negative statements delivered from Akal Takhat and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

29:03 - Jaswant Singh Purain, one of seven SGPC members who resigned their posts in protest:    Where Baba Deep Singh drew a line against the rulers of that time for the uplifting of the Kaum, the Sarbat Khalsa has gathered (today) to reclaim that status of this land. Under the leadership of Parkash Singh Badal, there can be nothing good that can happen for the Panth or Punjab or the whole country. They are evil. Today we have a great need to participate in this wave of the Kaum.  I was the first to leave the SGPC as its member to expose their crimes.

Jaswant Singh Purain, former member of SGPC

30:36MC:    Announcing Isher Singh of Hyderabad. He was imprisoned in the Bidar incident. He is also called “Bhindranwale of the South.”

31:10 - Isher Singh:    Starting from Guru Gobind Singh until now, the maryaada (traditions) of the five takhats were not allowed to be uniform. This was the conspiracy of the governments (Mughal, British and Indian). It was like that during British times, and I am doing a PhD on this (issue). I have gone to search many archives in England and looked at many documents and secret papers from the times of Lord Mountbatten.  I am humbly saying that today a great responsibility will be carried out. Our jathedaars are not referred to in any of those papers (not recorded in history).

I say on your behalf and on behalf of Sikhs from the South, and United Sikhs: We want freedom. This is that freedom the British tried to suppress, and the current governments are trying to suppress even now, and will continue to suppress. They don’t want the Sikh Panth to become united. Today, we had the Vaak: “Aek pita aekas kay hum baarak…” When that happens, the world will become Sikhs. I praise the fact that you have gathered to show the world that we are those Sikhs of the Guru who are willing to sacrifice ourselves. “Pahlae maran kabool, jeevan ki chadd aas…” Whatever the decision the Khalsa Panth takes here, we will support it.

34:05MC:    End
